The EnergyAustralia Campaign is Comically Creepy

The EnergyAustralia campaign shows that "understanding your energy usage helps us help you." While it might be creepy to find a man with a clipboard in the fridge and under a lampshade, the tradeoff is that they will be able to help people to save on power and, consequently, money. Of course, they will do so in a much more discreet manner.

Conceived and executed by the Leo Burnett ad agency branch located in Sydney, Australia, the EnergyAustralia campaign is quite comical. Art directed by Justin Carew, the hilariously staged images were shot by photographer David Stewart, who is known for his use of highly stylized, vibrant images. In fact, he was just recognized for his Intention/Indecision photo series.
