Edible Fixie Bicycles

Fabian Orhn & Joakim Hedblad Create a Bike out of Fruit and Vegetables

This photo series of an edible fixed gear bike is by photographer Fabian Öhrn and art director Joakim Hedblad. It looks like it can speed but really, it only feeds.

Made entirely out of food such as vegetable and fruits, this edible bike looks like a real one from afar. Up close, you’ll see that there’s no metals or rubber, instead it’s composed of foods combined with various substances such as syrup that glues everything together. You can see the use of carrots and green veggies for the seat.

With bang-on photography and food sculpting skills by Öhrn and Hedblad, it’s OK to finally be a rebel and play with your food. Who knows what kind of masterpiece you’ll come up with?
