Dissective Advertising

JWT Scrabble Ad

The advertising agency JWT came up with a brilliant new way to advertise the much beloved game of Scrabble: they've dissected items and animals.

JWT dissected an elephant, submarine, and guitar, in an out-of-order fashion to represent Scrabble tiles.  It's almost saying, "Look, a really big word is right in front of you, you just need to arrange your tiles and put it together."

The only beef I can find with this ad is that when playing by the official Scrabble rules, you are only allowed to have seven tiles at a time. Maybe JWT should consider replacing the submarine and elephant with dissected subjects that contain seven letters.
