The DibKit Diabetes Management System was created by IA Collaborative and consists of three pieces. The first and most important piece is the digital monitor. The digital monitor lets you measure your blood sugar level quickly and easily. The monitor then relays the amount of insulin needed to the pen wirelessly. The pen uses single-use cartridges to reduce waste (most glucose pens are tossed after one use). The last part of the system is the glucose pump. The pump is single-use but can be worn for up to three days. The dosage needed is wirelessly relayed from the monitor to the pump.
