Squished Seating

Dansk Stole by James Killinger is an Artistic Stretched-Out Lounger

There's something quite stretched-out about the Dansk Stole by James Killinger. The backrest, legs and seat are angled quite far apart, making the piece look like a giant pressed one heavy finger down on it.

Regardless of the design's inspiration, the Dansk Stole by James Killinger is a unique piece of furniture that seems to encourage a laid-back existence. I would probably describe it as more of a lounger because of this relaxed vibe.

Made out of 21 layers of maple veneer, the seat was further shaped and then laminated into its final form. See more images of the Dansk Stole by James Killinger in the gallery above.
