Between loving its creative inspirational way to being referred to as a dismal idea, the Chanel Hula Hoop Bag left people wondering the thought process behind the purse.

Karl Lagerfeld claims the bag is for the beach -- it's big enough for your towel and easy to press into the sand to hang objects off of. Karl Lagerfeld also threatens to upstage the enormous windturbines flanking the ends of the catwalk. While this bag is great for editorials and haute street style photography, its practicality for everyday wear is slightly questionable. However, what is not debatable, is the genius of this forward-thinking purse.
