Public transportation is often touted as cheaper and more eco-friendly than personal vehicles, but the Brampton Transit Zum ad campaign focuses on its speed instead. It pairs the simple and direct tag line, “It’s faster,” with images of windblown faces. As though inspired by the work of photographer Tadao Cern, specifically his Blow Job series, fellow photographer Avner Levona captured the idea of speed by way of these hilarious portraits.
The Brampton Transit Zum ad campaign was created by Groundzero Marketing, an ad agency based in Toronto, Canada. It was art directed by Rick Perri with creative direction by Bill Keenan. The almost surreal images will capture people’s attention immediately, which is exactly the point.
