Candy For Beer Lovers

'Beer Drops' Fail Taste-Test By Brewski Connoisseurs

Ok. I’m pretty open minded when it comes to food and I have had some beer ice cream that I really liked, but Beer Drops candy leaves me a bit skeptical. Michael John Grist bolsters my wariness when he reports in his blog of the results of his taste test: “Fail. Get a hip-flask instead.”

In my mind, this kind of reminds me of the time I tried one of the early non-alcoholic beers at our state fair a number of years back. It was very flat with very little hop (or any other) flavor. At least that quenched my thirst at the time. These candies would probably have the opposite effect. But hey, if I see them, I’ll probably pick up a tin and give them a try!
