Just because a city may be surrounded by bodies of water, doesn't automatically mean that it is rife with prime swimming areas, which is why the Authorized Swimming pool is so awesome. This pool essentially floats on top of a river in order to provide an ideal swimming area with a great nature-filled scene.
Designed by 2:pm Architectures and Dauphins Architecture, the Authorized Swimming pool was constructed on top of a large, industrial barge. Although it was designed with the city of Bordeaux and the Urban Community (CUB) in mind, the Authorized Swimming pool can essentially be plopped into any welcoming river bank. Predominantly metal, the deck is made out of wood, giving the Authorized Swimming pool a traditional touch even though it is completely nontraditional in general.
