Crazy Caricatured Cartoons

Andry Tatarko Illustrates Eccentricity for Time Out Magazine

St. Petersberg, Russia-based artist Andry Tatarko recently drew up a slew of caricatures for the St. Petersberg branch of Time Out Magazine.

Time Out is a publication that revolves around what's happening in whatever city it is circulated. It lists and describes notable events in theater, fashion, film, literature, music and other artistic ventures.

The publication is savvy to what many would consider offbeat, artsy or even eccentric cultural pursuits. Still, these Tatarko cartoons should raise at least a few eyebrows amongst the magazine's readership.

They are wonderfully weird, psychedelic takes on popular culture and life. Tatarko's drawing style is vividly reminiscent of Dr. Seuss illustrations. That is whimsical, oddly colored and a little bit messy. In other words, welcome qualities in caricature drawing.
