American Eagle Launches 77KIDS

American Eagle, umbrella company to American Eagle Outfitters, Martin & Osa as well as intimates chain Aerie has added a new addition to their retail family called 77kids. American Eagle is entering the coveted children's apparel business when other retailers are feeling the pressures of a slowing US economy. American Eagles CEO Jim O'Donnell is very confident they will taste success.

Implications - The new 77kids store will have clothing and accessories specially made for children of ages two to ten. Customers will also have access to the store online as well as in-person starting in 2009. Surely the store will have some super fabulous items that will have kids styled like their older siblings.
