Both Will and Jaden Smith convey apocalyptic intensity in this After Earth trailer.
The movie is set in a world where "everything has evolved to kill humans" and Will and his son are the only two known survivors. Although this begs the question of how reproduction would occur to repopulate the earth, maybe its a bit early to start poking holes in the plot since this is the first trailer released.
This post-apocalyptic adventure movie is well timed to release six months after December 21, which is the much talked about date for the world to end according to the Mayan calendar.
The After Earth trailer shows off the incredible chemistry between Will Smith and Jaden Smith and also makes some strong statements about the difference between fear and danger. After Earth releases June 7, 2013.
