The pledge of the PepsiCo UK Sustainability report is a monumental announcement for a company as vast as Pepsi and will require replacing their vehicles with eco-friendly variants, as well as getting all of their plants and distribution centers hooked up to renewable power sources in a remarkably short time. Despite this tall order, Pepsi has already take some major strides in these areas: as of 2011, 4 percent of PepsiCo UK's energy and 17 percent of its electricity is derived from sources that are completely renewable.
