Brunno Jahara's Neorustica Showcases Scrapwood Furniture

Inspired by his home country, Brazil, designer Brunno Jahara has built a collection of eco-friendly tables he calls ‘Neorustica.’

The concept behind 'Neorustica' is to highlight the living conditions in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Each table is named after different shanty towns in the city and is built from left-over scrap wood from demolition and construction sites. The collection is a product of a collaboration between Jahara and a furniture factory launching NDT Brazil, a brand committed to working in a environmentally conscious and sustainable way.
