The Tanya Clarke Liquid Lights are Industrial but Emotional

With an almost endless array of utterly unique pieces, the Tanya Clarke Liquid Lights have a lustrous allure that juxtaposes organic and industrial cues. Using plumbing fixtures as her frames for standing, hanging and sitting lamps, the designer constructs circuitous structures from which she suspends hand-sculpted glass droplets.

Part activist and part industrial designer, the artist has used this illuminating installation as a means to bring awareness to water consumption. With a combination of found manmade objects with added natural flair, the Clarke 'Liquid Lights' are ecological gems.
