This Eco-Wash Washing Machine Does Not Require Electricity to Operate

Two students from Christ College, India have designed a washing machine model made from recycled materials. Named the Eco-Wash, the upcycled washing machine is not only eco-friendly but also energy-efficient.

Eco-Wash features a pulley which moves with the help of kinetic energy and therefore no electricity is required. The designers are now planning to give their ideas to some leading garment manufacturers in India in hopes to promote greener cleaning.
