Industrial designer Simon Enever has developed a delightful door-side stand affectionately named 'Ella' the umbrella holder.
Made of moulded acrylic in the shape of a retracted parasol, the clever container actually consumes the water off of dripping umbrellas, using it to grow grass at the stand's puddle-shaped base. 'Ella' the umbrella stand is a treat for the eyes and the front foyer, bringing amusement to an otherwise rainy day.
The umbrella stand also comes in a spectrum of colors to make sure there is always a rainbow after a storm.
