Sky-High Pixelated Cities

The City(e)scape Concept Prepares for Rising Sea Levels

Looking at the City(e)scape concept, it does not look livable. Perhaps this has to do with the fact that it's located high up in the sky or that it looks so pixelated that I would fear falling right through. There are, however, some undeniable benefits to this eVolo entry.

Imagined by Turkish architects Sinan Gunay and Mustafa Bulgur, City(e)scape is based high in the heavens in order to address rising sea levels. Instead of fighting an eventual water world, they have embraced it. Reaching 70 meters tall, it would usher in a drastically different way of life.
