The Heathrow Mistletoe is the World's Biggest

Recognizing that airports are emotional places, Heathrow in the UK has gone all ‘Love Actually’ by installing the world’s largest sprig of mistletoe for Christmas arrivals. The airport hopes that over three million passengers will pucker up under the Heathrow mistletoe, which is a 10 x 8-foot sprig in Terminal 5, and smaller sprigs placed around the other terminals. Love is in the air-port (sorry, terrible pun).

Mike Brown, chief operating officer of the airport, had this to say about the Heathrow mistletoe: “Heathrow is often the place where friends and lovers are reunited at Christmas, or where people start their long journeys home to loved ones. We hope our giant mistletoe will bring some added Christmas cheer and excitement to journeys taken over the festive period.”
