The name of the Bagalight is both clever and not clever at the same time. Not quite sure how that worked out, but I'm still mildly impressed by the product. The Bagalight is an eco-friendly lamp that looks like a paper bag.
The paper bag motif makes the Bagalight surprisingly attractive. Liquidesign made the right decision not trying to do a plastic Bagalight. It wouldn't have been nearly as attractive.
Implications - Everything about this Bagalight is aesthetically compelling. The reason why I think that the bag works so well is because its design is so simple and the idea is quirky. Have a look for yourself.
