Monster Eco-Sinks

The Water-Controlled Mons Lavabo Teaches Kids to Conserve

When you’re a kid, probably, the last thing on your mind is how much water you’re using as you wash your hands. Now, the water-controlled Mons Lavabo designed by Teng Chuan Tey and Romualdo Faura Bernab will help children conserve water as they wash their hands and also ensure they don’t need a stool to do the deed.

The water-controlled Mons Lavabo is essentially a mini sink for kids that is shaped like monster (a friendly one). Made of biodegradable materials, the sink has a round design to keep splashing to a minimum, a ‘tooth’ that acts like a soap dispenser, and a motion detector to control the outflow of water.
