The Pantone color spectrum digitally printed leather chair by Sif Technology was made possible by the company’s new approach to digitized leather. Sif Technology has found a way to add plastic to leather to maximize the materials longevity and to allow the printing of any design or photograph on leather without sacrificing the material.
As a way of showcasing this new method Sif Technology exhibited a leather chair with the Pantone color spectrum digitally imprinted on it at NeoCon ‘09. Unfortunately there are no plans to produce this attention-grabber.
