Candy Topography

Paul Baker's ‘Sweet Map of the UK' Shows Stonehenge, Loch Ness

In a delicious twist on topographic maps, Paul Baker has created the ‘Sweet Map of the UK,’ which can be seen in the featured photos in the gallery.

Made entirely from candy, the ‘Sweet Map of the UK’ was designed not only to function as a piece of edible art (that will, in all likelihood, never be consumed) but also as an accurate model complete with landmark replicas like Stonehenge, the Angel of the North and the Loch Ness monster. Baker (please appreciate the irony of his name) used 4,000 bonbons, ranging from Liquorice Allsorts to wine gums, to build the two meter (6 ft) long creation, which took him two months to build.
