Medieval Armor Accessories

OntFront Spring 2010 Channels Knights & Exudes Masculinity

In the OntFront Spring 2010 runway show, designer Liza Koifman and creative director Tomas Overtoom took a radical departure from the gender-bending themes we’ve seen lately and headed back in time—to the Middle Ages, that is.

Blazers and dress shirts were flanked with pieces from a coat of armor as models were turned into knights for the OntFront Spring 2010 show. Even the knight chess piece made an appearance on shirts to bring the theme of old-school masculinity home.
