Invisible Air Cannons

Vortex Created by Condensing Water and Gas to Create a Weapon

While a bullet made of air that you can’t see doesn’t sound so frightening, a bullet made of air from a vortex cannon traveling at 200mph is a little more intimidating.

This vortex cannon uses a mixture of some very dangerous gases and the condensation from the lake to create an air vortex that is shot from the massive barrel at the houses of the three little pigs (straw, wood, brick). The only way to get an image of the vortex is to film at 1300 frames per second (which is what they did).

The cannon is powerful enough to knock down a man with minimal force. I wouldn’t want to get in front of that.
