Zuidkas Sustainable Skyscraper Helps Prepare for the Future

In order to save our planet we need to work on the things we already have. The Zuidkas study was tackled by Architectenbureau's Paul de Ruiter.

The goal of de Ruiter's designs was to create or evolve an area in order to minimize waste as well as ration energy consumption among different disciplines.

The central focus of the Zuidkas design is the rooftop gardens that are in place to sustain the skyscraper's offices, homes, school, restaurants, a park, a bio-gas electrical plant, and retail facilities.

The structure is glass encased and will use co-fermented plant waste and toilet water in order to heat up tap water and other parts of the structure.

Amazing and healthy!
