Grass in a Box

Nine99 Design Offers A Square of Spring Delivered in a Peek-A-Boo Package

A touch of spring is what we all need about now and Nine99 Design has just what the psychiatrist ordered. Patches of living green grass packaged in eco-friendly cardboard boxes with breathing holes for ‘longer shelf life.’

Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Fallingwater and the attempt to combine architecture and nature, the entire project is made from recycled materials and tries to merge the home with the outdoors.”

Maybe this is a fantasy concept, but after too many months of snow and cold, I’m placing my order for a square of sod today!
