Since 1933, fashion has taken over New York's Bryant Park in the spring for a colossal fashion extravaganza. No more. The Bryant Park Fashion Week is closing down.

IMG Fashion, the impetus behind the Bryant Park Fashion Week, is moving to Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. The new location is a mile away and much further from designer's offices. The threat is that designers may hold shows elsewhere.

Implications - The featured video shows workers working very hard through the day and night to get the fashion show tents all set up. It is amazing how much preparation is needed before the shows! IMG pays a whopping $1.5 million every year to use the park space.
