Bolivia is home to a rare hotel made entirely of salt This 15 room hotel also has a dining room, living room, and bar. It was built on the world’s largest salt flat by a salt artisan (no one ever told me about that in high school) in Salar de Uyuni. It was originally intended to house those visiting the flats, but as one would imagine, it has become an odd tourist attraction. No word yet as to whether asking someone to “pass the salt” is funny.
