Ballroom Dancing Robots

Q4 Technologies Go-Robos as 'Strictly Ballroom' Competitors

Bruce Forsyth has some competition in 2009 from an unlikely quarter. New computer software which allows students to program robots to ballroom dance has been developed by UK company Q4 Technologies. While the human contestants and presenters caused controversy on and offstage during the last BBC show, the Q4 Technologies’ robots won’t put a PC controlled foot wrong. Who knows, Tess Daly might be tripping the light fantastic with a RoboSapien V2 in the 2009 series of Strictly, while Brucie finally gets to put his feet up!

Q4’s Go-Robo software for schools, robotic clubs, and home use controls the award winning Wowwee FemiSapien and RoboSapien robots and will be available as of January 14, 2009.
