Julia Stegner Named ‘Model of the Year' by Vogue

German-born beauty Julia Stegner has been awarded the presitigious title of ‘Model of the Year’ by the world’s most respected monthly fashion bible, Vogue. To herald the honor, the blonde uber model was plunked on the December 2008 Vogue Germany cover in a holiday red dress, seen above. The 24-year-old Munich native also covered Vogue Deutschland’s first cover of the year for January 2008.

While Julia Stegner wasn’t the most buzzed about model this year (we heard far more about androgynous blondie Agyness Deyn,) she was one of the most prominent faces in high end editorials and strutting down the most esteemed catwalks.
