Toe-Dividing Stilettos

Alexander McQueen's Separated Toe-lettos for Freaky Feet

These stilettos, by Alexander McQueen for his Spring 2009 collection, look like they have been painted on, thanks to the bizarre molded toe dividers. If it wasn't for the 5” molded heel, the skin-coloured versions of the pumps would be virtually invisible.

The shoes bare a strong resemblance to a latex sockette, or some kind of footwear made for the water. I just hope there are no toenails embossed on that leather.

Implications - The McQueen stilettos are a whole other branch of strange and unusual fashion, but they are intriguing no less to the footwear-obsessed fashionista. Stressing a balance between comfort and style, the toe-lettos are making waves in the fashion world as women's curiosity is piqued by the shoes which are aimed at the atypical foot.
