Theresa Honeywell has gone ‘hog wild’ with her knitting hobby and created the ‘Motorcycle Cozy’. She has crocheted and knit these giant bike socks in pink and white acrylic yarn. After all, when the toys are put away for the winter they better be snugly warm.
She covered nearly every bit of the motorcycle from the seat and handles bars to the engine and tires. Mirrors, brake rotors and shocks; the exposed parts have all been lovingly wrapped up.
Honeywell’s knitted sculptures will be on display in Saint Petersburg, Florida at CraftArt, November 22-23, 2008.
