The Clark Shoes Courtyard

This spectacular installation is found at the Clark Shoes headquarters in South England. The display, which was designed by ROSO, represents dust particles floating within two beams of light, something many of us are familiar with from our own homes.

Inside each light ray are 7,500 sparkling bits of dust, suspended from 36 wires. The sunbeams traverse the Clark building’s 4-story courtyard, which measures 25 meters by 7 meters.

The shiny discs reflect the blue sky and the surrounding white and green structure, creating a dynamic and, from some angles, explosive exhibit.
