One of our most precious and natural resources, water, will be paid tribute to by the company Roca, at 100% Design London 2008, September 18-21, in Earls Court, London. The centerpiece will be the Waterdrop Installation, a technological masterpiece by master designer Héctor Serrano.
The Waterdrop Installation was created to show people how a single drop of water cascades from the center outward, causing waves and ripples, as well as inward, upward, and downward movements. This exceptional and one of a kind technology does a magnificent job at capturing the essence of waters natural ebb and flow. Once the “drop” effect occurs, a single blue wave runs along side the rectangular structure that holds the flourescent blue sea of lights inside. See the video above.
Water represents life, clarity, health, vigor, and vitality. It is often used as a focal point of meditation by both secular and religious communities as a way to bring peace to the mind and soul.
