Not harming any live trees in his creative pursuits, this self-taught artist works with only dead tree trunks, whittling them down and giving them new life as incredibly detailed statues, often featuring human figures. The designs are not commissioned or privatized as anyone has access to the public spaces in which they are located, making the environment that much more attractive and lively.
