It's surprising how few people know how to sew on a button. Moreover, without a needle and thread readily available, the Pin Button is simply the best solution to mending your garments in a jiffy.

Mingyeon Jang and Kiho Jung came up with the idea to make the fabric-fastening process as user-friendly as possible, basing it on the staple that keeps sheets of paper stuck together. The small stud would be manufactured from two pieces of plastic, housing a piece of malleable bent metal between them with its two tacks sticking out.

Four holes mimic the look of a genuine button and can even be enhanced in advance with thread. However, when it comes to applying the Pin Button to a collared shirt, you simply press it through the cloth and fold the ends in.
