Cooking on a camp fire or portable barbecue will not cut it anymore if the Green Cooker ever makes it to the market. A futuristic alternative, it not only looks cool, but it is also incredibly eco-friendly. In place of wood, gas and other fuel for flames, the Green Cooker utilizes solar power and water to work.
Designed by Shou-Yang Huang, the Green Cooker features a retractable cooking panel that lays flat on the ground to provide a convenient surface to cook on. Great for more imaginative dishes that the typical hamburger and hotdog meal, the Green Cooker also rolls up into a convenient column to make it more portable. It is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry.
