Alex Smyth-Kirk, an Australian native, is the up-and-coming designer behind this fabulous and sleek collection of wearable statement pieces. Launching Vera Xane in 2011, her handmade metal statement pieces are as modern as they are wearable.

Already infatuated with jewelry at a young age, her love and passion flourished while attending school for fashion and textile design. Understanding that clothing was not the route she wanted to take, this experience gave her the know-how and motivation needed to launch her own unique jewelry line a few years later.

Her ongoing infatuation with popular culture and 70s rock greatly inspired the Dichotomy collection. More specifically, it was the women of the 70s who embodied a free and wild spirit that she's tried to encapsulate in her brand. The light and structurally aesthetically pleasing pieces are so versatile that they transcend seasons.
