Liquorice-Inspired Sculptures

Candy Falls Park Installation Attempts to Sweeten up the Place

Brightening up the John Farr rest garden in Nottingham, the Candy Falls park installation designed by Cat Madeira is trying to change the park's environment.

Stating that the park has not been used to its fullest potential thus far, Madeira wants to infuse some confectionery sweetness with her liquorice-shaped structures. The Candy Falls installation serves to add color and substance to the previously empty garden, drawing people in and encouraging them to spend more time in the park. The sculptures serve as decor and seating as well, allowing people to interact with their environment, making the it a more relaxing and enjoyable place to be in.

Simply sweet and structural, the Candy Falls park installation adds colorful treats to the garden.
