ADATA has revealed the DashDrive Elite HE720 portable external hard drive and they claim that it's the thinnest ever made.

Measuring only 8.9 mm thick and weighing just 0.36 pounds, the DashDrive Elite HE720 is not only thin and light, but also looks quite elegant with a metal-brushed finish that most fashion-conscious tech buffs should find appealing.

The drive has a capacity of 500 GB, which is enough for roughly 100 DVD movies as well a large quantity of digital photographs and music. Although it's built to connect to computers via USB 3.0, it's also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 so no need to worry if your machine is slightly outdated.
