'DENZIPFADEN' Lets You Sample Tracks and Control Music Volume

Maartje Dijkstra, a Dutch fashion designer, has created an interactive DJ suit called 'DENZIPFADEN' that just might revolutionize the integration of fashion and music.

The interactive DJ suit, which was made in conjunction with electronic composer and DJ Beorn Lebenstedt (Newk) and recently showcased at the TechnoSensual exhibition in Vienna, is a man's suit made out of golden silk and wires that allows the wearer to use the suit like a midi controller. By pulling one of the six golden zippers on DENZIPFADEN, the wearer can change the volume of the music, add tracks and more. The hi-tech elements of the suit are hidden, making it function first as a fashion piece and second as a midi controller.
