Don Cayelli’s SunVolt Solar Power Station promises to charge your gadgets as fast as a wall outlet. The portable solar charger is made up of Monocrystalline photovoltaic panels and comes in either 10W or 15W sizes. The portable aspect of the SunVolt comes courtesy of its built-in carrying case.
Cayelli claims that, on a sunny day, the SunVolt works just as good as a wall outlet. Like a wall outlet, the SunVolt can charge multiple gadgets at once, with the 10W version comes with two charging ports and the 15W version comes with three. The downside is that, on cloudy days, the solar charger may not be able to juice up multiple gadgets. The SunVolt Solar Power Station is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter and is a little more than halfway funded with three weeks to go.
