Dressed-Up Bandit Fashion

Margrethe-Skolen Spring/Summer 2013 Showcase Displays New Design Talent

These designs are from the Margrethe-Skolen Spring/Summer 2013 showcase. Students of the Margrethe-Skolen Scandanavian Academy of International Fashion and Design put on an exciting and fashion-forward show.

The looks coming down the runway display a wide variety of fashion features. Expensive-looking patterns using a lot of gold were common, and many of the prints were reminiscent of signature Versace prints. Designers were unafraid to bring back the Western bank robber look with a number of bandit-inspired face scarves being sported by models. The line between street wear and work wear is being blurred, as evidenced by blazers paired with patterned shorts.

The Margrethe-Skolen Spring/Summer showcase is a testament to the superb quality of the design school. It does an amazing job of cultivating unique ideas and individual personalities.
