The new spotcheck watch by Lloyd Mushy is a playful and interesting concept on how to read time. The LCD watch displays an array of seemingly random question marks which can be decoded if one stares at the two dots on the bottom of the screen. Like the optical illusions that require you to stare at the image until the hidden object presents itself, the jumble of question marks will rearrange and display the time.

While the watch may not be the best investment if you're looking for something that will quickly relay the date or time of day, the spotcheck watch gives whole new meaning to the phrase "staring at the clock."

Available in a green, purple, pink, blue or grey, the watch also comes with an alarm so you don't have to stare at it for 30 seconds before realizing you're late for work.
