Horse-Jockey Look with Sculpture Shoes

Miu Miu Fall/Winter 08

After the minimal chic elegance of Prada's Milan show, full of crochet details, Miu Miu brings to Paris runway a collection of jockey uniforms.
The models wore under-knee trousers or skirts and kind of casual sweatshirts realized with a laser cutter, that totally hide the traits of female body.
The looks were always completed by a sort of swimming cap, such that after all it was hard also to perceive the beauty of the models.
All the exits had essentially the same appearance, a woman that wears something between a scuba diver and a jockey.
The clothes were realized in a heavy nylon stretch fabric in offbeat colors: black and grey, black and olive, black and red-currant.
All over it seems really too futuristic, and personally the match of this sporty-looking pieces (even in the ones decorated with paillettes) with those amazing sculpture-like platform shoes is really disturbing.
But... the shoes are actually really cool!
