The HELO TC Assault app-controlled helicopter turns any Android or iOS device into a simulated flight deck.

The free app controls the function of the flying vehicle with the touch of a screen by sliding the cell phone into the flight deck sleeve (which is surprisingly low-tech and runs on AAA batteries.)

While the airborne missile launcher only has enough juice to fly for about eight minutes, it more than makes up for its short airtime with its dual launcher that can rapidly fire up to six missiles.

There are two control settings available to cater to a range of pilots: the Cyclic mode uses the phone's multi-touch display to adjust the throttle and directional joystick, or the Tilt-to-Fly mode which controls the aircraft by tilting the phone back and forth and side to side.

Up to three flight plans can also be stored ahead of time for preemptive strikes and crafty, covert missions.
