'Ryggtavlor' by Johanna Wallin Illustrates the Human-Nature Relationship

While every human body can already be considered as a unique landscape on its own, the photo series titled 'Ryggtavlor' by Johanna Wallin takes this sentiment to a whole different level. It concentrates on a person's back, and for good reason. While the hairs, freckles and birthmarks present on a back might be interesting to some, the 22-year--old Swedish photographer has introduced some stunning artwork that will intrigue people even more.

Inspired by nature, Ryggtavlor by Johanna Wallin has painted tree lines, sahara scenes and mountain ranges on her models' backs. By doing so, she illustrates in a unique manner the relationship between humans and their natural environment. The series was recently exhibited at Observerbara Universum in Göteborg, Sweden.
