Money by Dimitri Tsykalov Represents Unraveling Economies

Money by Dimitri Tsykalov is an art project that literally depicts unraveling world economies. It is comprised of five international credit cards that have been handcrafted out of colorful yarn. Although these credit cards may look unfinished, they are simply fraying at the bottom on purpose to represent the dire situations many countries find themselves in.

Currently on display at the Galerie Rabouan Moussion in Paris, France, Money by Dimitri Tsykalov is stunningly intricate, ensuring that each card is indisputably recognized. The credit cards included are from Bank of China, American Express, Arab Bank and Bank of Rajasthan. The American Express card is represented twice, which really illustrates the instability of the United States' economy. The art series brings much needed attention to this issue.
