Though it’s tempting to think these AtomicZen photos are digitally produced using computer graphics, viewers will be surprised to learn these wondrous images are actually still frames of real locations in Australia and New Zealand. The Sydney-based photographer explains that his goal is to illuminate, “the beauty of nature,” to his audiences. It’s safe to say he’s achieved this goal with his incredible finds, depicting misty rivers, breathtaking waterfalls and other natural wonders that make viewers want to hop on a plane and do some travelling of their own.

AtomicZen often takes his photographs during sunrises and sunsets, resulting in images that look as though an artist painted the sky with vibrant shades of orange and yellow. The flowing water of his pictures are so visually surreal that it gives viewers euphoric sensations just staring at the dream-like scenery.
